The 2026 United States Senate election in Idaho will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the state of Idaho. Primary elections will be held on May 19, 2026. Three-term incumbent Republican Jim Risch was re-elected in 2020 with 62.6% of the vote. [1] [2] Idaho has been represented in the U.S. Senate exclusively by Republicans since 1981, and Democrats have not won a U.S. Senate race there since 1974.
