The constituency was most recently won by Bapusaheb Pathare of the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar in the 2024 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election defeating Sunil Tingre of the Nationalist Congress Party by about 4710 votes. ^[2]

Geographical scope

The constituency comprises wards number 8 to 15, 64 to 68 and 125 to 129 of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) as well as the Kalas revenue circle of Haveli taluka excluding areas transferred to PMC. ^[1]
