History

Youngstown High School is set to open in 2026, following the consolidations of Chaney and East High School, as part of the district's reconfiguration plan. [2] In the original press release, the high school was set to be named as "Youngstown Unified High School" [3] but was later renamed to just Youngstown High School. [4] The high school building is located at the former East High School site. [5]
