William "Bill" Daniel Moses Jr. (born July 27, 1962) is an American entrepreneur, investor, and health-policy advocate known for his work in recovery-focused public-health initiatives, functional consumer products, and personalized and regenerative health policy. He is the co-founder of KeVita, Inc., a probiotic beverage company acquired by PepsiCo in 2016. Moses has founded, advised, and served on the boards of multiple consumer health and wellness companies and is the founder and chairman of the Personalized Health Association, a federally registered 501(c)(4) education and advocacy organization focused on regulatory and healthcare modernization.

Early life and career

Moses was born on July 27, 1962, in Homestead, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1985 and began his professional career in finance and investment banking.

Moses began his professional career at Bear Stearns before becoming a partner at Axiom Partners, a New York–based investment banking and brokerage firm. [1]

In 1997, Moses co-founded Recovery Television Network and RNetHealth.com, a joint venture with Liberty Media focused on addiction recovery resources and public-health education. [2] [3] [4] Elements of the organization’s outreach initiatives were later cited in the United States Congressional Record.

Business ventures

In 2001, Moses founded Casa Barranca Organic Winery, the first USDA-certified organic winery and vineyard on California’s Central Coast, which was later sold to The Naturalist Winery. [5]

In 2009, Moses co-founded KeVita, Inc., serving as Chairman and CEO. KeVita provided the healthy beverage sector with a sparkling, probiotic functional beverage and kombucha for health-conscious consumers. [6]

Moses developed KeVita from a regional brand to national distribution across more than 20,000 retail locations across North America. PepsiCo acquired KeVita for $220 million in 2016. [7] [8] [9] [10]

In 2016, Moses founded the research and development company Fermented Sciences Inc., which developed the Flying Embers hard kombucha brand. Flying Embers was later acquired by JuneShine Brands. Moses joined Whipstitch Capital in 2017 as the company's Senior Operating and Strategic Advisor. [11] [12] He was later named Executive Chairman of ICONIC Protein Drink in September 2017.

In 2018, Moses joined the board of directors of Koia, a manufacturer of plant-based protein beverages. He has served as a board member, investor, and advisor to consumer and functional food and beverage brands including Koia, Vive Organic, WILDE Brands, Kosterina, and JuneShine/Willie’s Remedy. In 2024, trade press coverage identified Moses as a board member of WILDE Brands and reported his involvement in a $20 million investment round for the company. [13]

Health policy and regenerative medicine

Moses is the founder and chairman of the Personalized Health Association, a Washington, D.C.–based advocacy organization focused on regenerative, personalized, and precision medicine. [1]

In 2025, the organization announced a national policy initiative concerning federal regulatory frameworks governing adult stem cell and regenerative medicine therapies.

Moses has also participated as a featured speaker on regenerative medicine and health policy at industry events, including BevNET Live. [1]

Cloud Lift Capital

In 2025, Moses founded Cloud Lift Capital, a boutique advisory and investment firm focused on early-stage opportunities in health, longevity, and consumer innovation. [1] [14]

Awards and recognition

Moses is a recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations (NECO) for his outstanding citizenship, individual achievements, and encouragement of cultural unity. [15] [16]

Moses has also served as Honorary Chair of Cable Positive, a nonprofit organization focused on HIV/AIDS awareness, and as a board member of the World Business Academy, a nonprofit organization focused on environmental and social responsibility in business. [17]
