The Gospel Harmony Boys is a southern gospel quartet. Since their founding by Jennings Harold Lane in 1952, [1] [2] they have presented gospel music concerts across the United States in churches, auditoriums, fairs, and festivals. The group presents a concert that includes many classic gospel songs as well as many original ones.
The quartet used television as a medium early on, becoming the first southern gospel group to perform live on television as well as hosting a southern gospel program for over 17 years. [1] [3]
The Gospel Harmony Boys included Dr. Clacy Williams singing tenor, Scott Brooks singing lead, Scott Adams singing baritone, and Henry Riffe singing bass.[ when? ]
The group disbanded in 2002 and refounded two years later. [3]
