Tata Business Support Services was founded in 2004 ^[1] as a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group. ^[1]

Operations

In November 2017, Business services provider Quess Corp acquired Tata Business Support Services (TBSS) for Rs.153 crore . It will own 51% of the Hyderabad-headquartered company, with Tata Sons holding the remaining stake. ^[2]
