St. Mary Central Catholic High School is a Catholic, private school in Sandusky, Ohio. It is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Toledo. They compete in the Sandusky Bay Conference as a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

History

Opened in 1902, St. Mary Central Catholic serves students grades 9-12.

St. Mary Central Catholic underwent several building renovations in its history, including a new gymnasium in 1951, a new 12 room grade school in 1956, a four-classroom science building along with a band room in 1972 and a $1.7 million expansion of 14 classrooms and a multi-purpose room in 1981. [1]

The three Catholic grade schools in Sandusky underwent a consolidation in 2003, St. Mary’s, Holy Angels, and Sts. Peter & Paul. Its new combined district name is now Sandusky Central Catholic School.
