A sodium channel opener is a type of drug which facilitates ion transmission through sodium channels.

Examples include natural toxins, such as aconitine, veratridine, grayanotoxin, pyrethrin I, batrachotoxin, robustoxin, palytoxins and ciguatoxins. [1]
