Smith Snowden (born February 1, 2005) [1] is an American college football cornerback for the Utah Utes.
Snowden attended Skyridge High School in Lehi, Utah. [2] As a senior, he notched 28 tackles, six interceptions, and four total touchdowns. [3] Coming out of high school, Snowden was rated as a four-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Utah Utes over offers from schools such as BYU, Northwestern, Penn, Stanford, and Yale. In week 11 of the freshman season in 2023, Snowden got his first defensive reps, playing 37 snaps and recording three tackles in a win over Arizona State. [6] He appeared in 11 games that year, notching seven tackles. [7] [8] In week 3 of the 2024 season, Snowden recorded his first career interception off quarterback Bryson Barnes in a win over Utah State. [9]
