Single White Female is an American thriller film series. The series consisted of two films, a remake and a television series is in the works. [1]
A woman advertising for a new roommate finds that something very strange is going on with the tenant who decides to move in.
A young woman develops a dangerous, obsessive friendship with her new roommate and plots to murder all those who she feels have done her new friend wrong.
A remake inspired by the original film titled The Roommate. When college freshman Sara Matthews arrives on campus for the first time, she befriends her roommate Rebecca Evans, unaware that the girl is becoming dangerously obsessed with her.
In December 2016, NBC is developing a television adaptation of the film.
