Shirani is a town the Tochi valley in North Waziristan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The town had also been a key strategic outpost during the colonial era. ^[1] The town is in a remote area of Datta Khel Tehsil ^[2] and in region where Chilghoza Pine Nuts are grown. ^[3]
