Streetlife Serenade is the third studio album by American recording artist Billy Joel,released on October 11,1974,by Columbia Records. The follow-up to Piano Man (1973),it was his last release until 1993's River of Dreams to be recorded mostly with session musicians. While Joel himself sang and played piano and other keyboards,some of his backing musicians—guitarists Don Evans and Al Hertzberg,and banjo/pedal steel guitarist Tom Whitehorse—played on the album. Joel also used synthesizers for the first time,namely the Moog synthesizer.
Kwaito is a music genre that emerged in Soweto,Johannesburg,South Africa,during the 1990s. It is a variant of house music featuring the use of African sounds and samples. Typically at a slower tempo range than other styles of house music,Kwaito often contains catchy melodic and percussive loop samples,deep bass lines,and vocals. Despite its similarities to hip hop music,Kwaito has a distinctive manner in which the lyrics are sung,rapped and shouted.
Goanna were an Australian rock band which formed in 1977 in Geelong as The Goanna Band with mainstay Shane Howard as singer-songwriter and guitarist. The group integrated social protest with popular music and reached the Top 20 on the Australian Kent Music Report Singles Chart with "Solid Rock" (1982) and "Let the Franklin Flow". Their debut album,Spirit of Place peaked at No. 2 on the related albums chart. They disbanded in 1987 and briefly reformed in 1998.
Dover was a Spanish rock band founded in Madrid in 1992. The group was composed of the sisters and group leaders Cristina Llanos (vocals) and Amparo Llanos,drummer Jesús Antúnez and bassist Samuel Titos. They recorded eight albums,selling around two million copies. They are known for their second album Devil Came to Me,which led them to international fame. In 2006,their sixth album,Follow the City Lights caused controversy as the style of the group changed from alternative rock to electronic pop. The band won,among other things,the revelation group awards at the 1997 Premios Ondas and the award for best Spanish artist at the 2000 MTV Europe Music Awards. The band was disbanded in 2016 by Amparo Llanos,who has since begun another project without her sister.

The film was the second film to feature The Glenn Miller Orchestra,and is notable among the many swing era musicals because its plot is more serious and realistic than the insubstantial storylines that were typical of the genre. The movie was re-released in 1954 by 20th Century Fox to tie-in with the biopic The Glenn Miller Story.

The song was written by Hamasaki herself while it was produced by Dutch disc jockey Ferry Corsten. The song was first conceived when Corsten had developed a track in Europe entitled "The Lots of Love". Despite him playing it at several events and shows throughout Europe,he did not release the track. After this,Hamasaki and Corsten had started to collaborate and the pair had changed and used the finishing result to create "Connected".
Kabelo Mabalane,known by his stage name as Kabelo or Bouga Luv,is a South African kwaito musician,songwriter and actor. He is a member of the kwaito trio TKZee. He has opened shows for world famous musicians such as Jay-Z,50 Cent,Ja Rule and Rihanna. He co-owns Faith Records,a South African independent music company. He has also been a judge on SA's Got Talent for the past two seasons in 2014.
