Namudag Raj [1] was erstwhile principality and ruled the south Bihar in the early mediaeval history. It is also known for the Garh of royal family of the Surwar rajput [2] [3] (gaur dynasty [4] ). Namudag state consist four zamindari estate Udai garh, Mahuari garh, Naudiha, Gulabjhari which were ruled by the members of the Namudag royal family. They ruled over 1,012 villages.
