Moore was raised near Gloucester, Ontario. She began writing in earnest while at Emily Carr Middle School. Her interest in the fantasy genre began to blossom after studying Ursula K. Le Guin's Earthsea novels in grade 7, and she would escape school grounds during lunch hours to play Dungeons & Dragons with a group of friends. Subsequently, she went to high school at Canterbury High School (Ottawa) for the Performing Arts to study clarinet. Her post-secondary studies were at Carleton University and then a law degree at Queen's University.
She practices family law while writing in her spare time, or vice versa.
A series of books exploring the adventures and relationships of bonded Pairs (magic-endowed individuals termed "Source" and "Shield") who work together to make the land habitable and keep the citizenry safe.
The Bonded Pair relationship works by the "Source" channelling the energy of disastrous natural events (such as earthquakes) while the "Shield" protects the Source from the effects of channelling. Their bond is such that the death of one would produce the death of the other. Bonding is involuntary but permanent and makes for a very intense working relationship between people who might not otherwise choose to have anything to do with each other.
The stories concern a particular bonded pair - Shintaro Karish and Dunleavy Mallorough - who are very different and initially totally fail to understand each other but ultimately come to recognise each other's worth. Their relationship is somewhat reminiscent of Elizabeth and Darcy in Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice in that the middle-class Dunleavy (Lee) is prejudiced against the rich, aristocratic Shintaro (Taro) because of his (undeserved?) reputation.
On March 29, 2007, Moore announced on her blog that ACE would not be publishing book three of the series, despite an outcry from fans and the fact that this book was already written. [1] On 14 April, however, she reported that ACE had changed their minds and published the third and fourth book. [2]
Moore announced on her blog on August 30, 2011, that ACE would not be publishing the rest of the Hero series but she planned to complete the series and post it on her blog and/or website for people to read for free. [3]

Dr. Moira MacTaggert, more recently known as Moira X, is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men #96 and was created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Dave Cockrum. She works as a geneticist and is an expert in mutant affairs. She is most commonly in association with the X-Men and has been a member of the Muir Island X-Men team and Excalibur.
Carnage is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, usually as an adversary of Spider-Man and the archenemy of his father Venom, in particular the Eddie Brock incarnation of the character, although Carnage and Venom have joined forces when their goals have aligned. The character made its first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man #361, and was created by writer David Michelinie and artist Mark Bagley, although the first published artwork of Carnage was penciled by Chris Marrinan. Stan Lee would also have some input in the character's name and attributes, pushing for a character who would be far darker and more vicious than Venom, due to the latter's more scrupulous character development.
Wolfsbane is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is commonly associated with the X-Men. A Scottish mutant, Wolfsbane can transform into a wolf or a transitional state somewhere between human and wolf, similar to a werewolf. She honed her powers to shift between human and wolf characteristics but must keep her feral instincts at bay when she does.

Wendy Moira Angela Darling is a fictional character and one of the main protagonists of the 1904 play and 1911 novel Peter and Wendy by J. M. Barrie, as well as in most adaptations in other media. Her exact age is not specified in the original play or novel by Barrie, though it is implied that she is about Peter's age as she is "just Peter's size".

Venom is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is a sentient alien symbiote with an amorphous, liquid-like form, who survives by bonding with a host, usually human. This dual-life form receives enhanced powers and usually refers to itself as "Venom". The symbiote was originally introduced as a living alien costume in The Amazing Spider-Man #252, with a full first appearance as Venom in The Amazing Spider-Man #300.
Avalon: Web of Magic is a series of twelve young adult fantasy books written by American author Rachel Roberts between 2001 and 2010. The books tell of the adventures of a trio of modern girls who are turned into mages to save the legendary land of Avalon from those who want to use its magic for evil. There is a related graphic novel series, Avalon: The Warlock Diaries, and an animated series adaptation is currently in the works.

Moira Dingle is a fictional character from the British soap opera Emmerdale, played by Natalie J. Robb. The actress successfully auditioned for the role after a call came through her agent. The Stormlight Archive is a high fantasy novel series written by American author Brandon Sanderson, planned to consist of ten novels. As of 2023, the series comprises four published novels and two novellas, set within his broader Cosmere universe. The first novel, The Way of Kings, was published on August 31, 2010. The second novel, Words of Radiance, was published in 2014 and debuted at number one on The New York Times Best Seller List, followed by Oathbringer in 2017 and Rhythm of War in 2020. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and Wendy Darling from J. M. Barrie's Peter and Wendy. They meet as adults in 1913 and describe and share some of their erotic adventures with each other.
