Michael Norman George James OC FRS FRSC (born 1940) [1] (died 2023) [2] was Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Alberta. [8] [9] He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society (FRS) in 1989 for "substantial contributions to the improvement of natural knowledge". [10] He was appointed to the Order of Canada in June 2023, with the rank of Officer. He lived in Edmonton. [11]
