The 1967 Mount Marshall state by-election was a by-election held on 2 September 1967 for the Western Australian Legislative Assembly seat of Mount Marshall in the northeastern agricultural part of the state.
The 2013 Western Australian state election was held on Saturday 9 March 2013 to elect 59 members to the Legislative Assembly and 36 members to the Legislative Council. The Liberal Party won a majority of seats in the Legislative Assembly for the first time since the election of 1996,retaining government with 31 seats. The Labor Party won 21 seats and the National Party won 7 seats. In the Legislative Council,the Liberals won 17 of the 36 seats.
Mia Jane Davies is an Australian politician who was the Leader of the Opposition and leader of the National Party in Western Australia from March 2021 to January 2023. She has been a member of the state Legislative Assembly since 2013,having previously served in the Legislative Council from 2009 to 2013.
