Madison Township is a civil township in the northwestern part of Rockingham County, North Carolina, United States. It is named for James Madison.
It includes the towns of Madison and Mayodan.
As of the 2020 United States census, the population was 7579, of whom 5936 were white and 1055 were African-American. [1]
