Lithium hexafluoroaluminate is an inorganic chemical compound with the chemical formula Li3AlF6. [2] [3]

Synthesis

The compound crystallizes from melts of lithium fluoride and aluminium fluoride: [4]

3LiF + AlF3 → Li3AlF6.
