The name Jebi has been used to name five tropical cyclones in the northwestern Pacific Ocean. On the first two occasions, before the spelling was corrected by the WMO Typhoon Committee, the variant Chebi was used. The name was submitted by South Korea and is a Korean word for the barn swallow (Hirundo rustica).

• Typhoon Chebi (2001) (T0102, 04W, Emong) – peaked near Southwest of Taiwan and eventually made landfall in China
• Typhoon Chebi (2006) (T0620, 23W, Queenie) – a rapidly intensified typhoon which traversed the northern Philippines
• Tropical Storm Jebi (2013) (T1309, 09W, Jolina) – struck the Philippines, mainland China and Vietnam
• Typhoon Jebi (2018) (T1821, 25W, Maymay) – a strong Category 5 typhoon that made landfall in west Japan, becoming the third costliest typhoon in nominal terms
• Typhoon Jebi (2024) (T2417, 19W) – a minimal typhoon that passed off the coast of Japan

The name Jebi was requested by the UK Met Office to be retired after the 2024 season, due to its pronunciation being identical to that of a derogatory word in the Croatian language, where "jebi" means "to fuck". Its replacement name will be announced in 2026. ^[1]
