Joel P. West is an American composer, singer, songwriter and musician based in San Diego. [1] He is the lead vocalist and guitarist of the band Joel P. West and the Tree Ring. [2] [3] He is also known for his collaborations with filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton, composing such films of his as Short Term 12 (2013) [1] , The Glass Castle , Just Mercy and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). [4]
