Dan-Air was an airline based in the United Kingdom and a wholly owned subsidiary of London shipbroking firm Davies and Newman. It was started in 1953 with a single aircraft. City of Derry Airport (Irish: Aerfort Chathair Dhoire, previously known as RAF Eglinton and Londonderry Eglinton Airport, is a regional airport located 7 mi northeast of Derry, Northern Ireland. It went into administration due to financial problems and the airline declared bankruptcy on 16 December 2009.
