Michael A. Marletta is an American biochemist. He was born in Rochester,New York,the son of Italian immigrants. He graduated from the State University of New York at Fredonia in 1973 with an A.B. degree in biology and chemistry,and from the University of California,San Francisco in 1978 with a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical chemistry,where he studied with George Kenyon. He was a postdoctoral fellow with Christopher T. Walsh at MIT from 1978-1980 and continued as a faculty member at MIT from 1980-1987 whereupon he joined the faculty of the University of Michigan,Ann Arbor. He was John G. Searle Professor of Medicinal Chemistry in the college of pharmacy and professor of biological chemistry at the University of Michigan. In 2001,he moved to the University of California,Berkeley to assume roles as Aldo DeBenedictis Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and professor of biochemistry and molecular biology,and served as the chair of the department of chemistry from 2005 until 2010. He was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator. From January 2012 to August 2014,Marletta was president and CEO of The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla,California,succeeding Richard Lerner.
Isa Marte Hussaini is a Nigerian professor of pharmacology and fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Science,inducted into the academy in 2013. He specialized in cancer research and is currently exploring the use of local herbs for cancer therapy. His report to the Nigerian Academy of Science on the use of local herbs for Cancer therapy suggested that herbal plants are more efficacious than the current drugs used in cancer treatments. In May 2015,he presented a paper entitled:“The mining of Nigerian medicinal plants for cancer therapy”in Abuja at the induction of Fellows of the Nigeria Academy of Science where he stated the predictions of the International Agency for Research on Cancer that annual global new cases of cancers are expected to rise from 11 million to 16 million by 2020,with 70 per cent of them coming from developing countries.

Ahmed Tijjani Mora (OON) is a Nigerian pharmacist,academic,former Registrar and now Chairman of the Governing Council of Pharmacists Council of Nigeria. He is the National President,Ahmadu Bello University Alumni Association. He was elected President of the Alumni Association in August 2015 at the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the association. The assembly was attended by delegates from over 25 States. Prior to his election,he was the substantive Deputy National president of the association.

She is also be associate vice president for research at Ohio State. Johnson comes to Ohio State from the University of Florida,where she was dean emeritus of pharmacy and a distinguished professor of pharmacy and medicine in the Department of Pharmacotherapy &Translational Research. For four consecutive years,she was a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in Pharmacology and Toxicology,indicating she was one of the "world's leading scholars in the sciences and social sciences in the preceding decade."
Lori Jo Pierce is an American radiation oncologist and 57th President of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. She is a Full Professor and Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on the use of radiotherapy in the multi-modality treatment of breast cancer,with emphasis on intensity modulated radiotherapy in node positive breast cancer,the use of radiosensitizing agents,and the outcomes of women treated with radiation for breast cancer who are carriers of a BRCA1/2 breast cancer susceptibility gene.
