The International Short Film Festival of Cyprus (ISFFC) is a film festival for short films held in a different city of Cyprus each year. [1] The festival is accredited by the European Film Academy, as part of its network of accredited festivals, with the right to nominate one short film for the European Film Awards. [2]
The festival held its first ceremony in 2008, receiving over 300 submissions from 39 different countries. [3] The jury was composed of Greek Cypriot director Panicos Chrysanthou, Turkish Cypriot director Dervis Zaim, Turkish actress Demet Evgar, and Russian-born American journalist Simon Ostrovsky.
