Houston T. Roth (born March 9,1998) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is currently a phantom ballplayer,having spent six days on the Orioles' active roster without appearing in a game.
Roth played college baseball at the University of Mississippi. He was selected by the Baltimore Orioles in the 29th round of the 2019 MLB draft. [1]
On July 29,2025,Roth was selected to the 40-man roster and promoted to the major leagues for the first time. [2] He did not make an appearance for the team before he was optioned back to the Triple-A Norfolk Tides on August 4. Roth was designated for assignment by the Orioles on August 11. [3]
