The film is written and directed by Shana Feste. It is produced by Peter Chernin and Jenno Topping for Chernin Entertainment, with Jason Owen producing for Sandbox Studios, and Randall Poster. [1]

The cast is led by Jessica Chastain, John Hawkes and Carter Faith. In October 2025, Garrett Hedlund, Jennifer Nettles, Ross Lynch and Ben Dickey joined the cast. [2]

Principal photography began on September 29, 2025, at Shadowbox Studios in Atlanta, under the working title HTLD. [3]
