Biography

Ella Baron was educated at Merton College, Oxford University where she worked for the student newspaper Cherwell [1] . [2] . Ella Baron works in the UK as a political cartoonist for a number of print newspapers, including The Times and The Guardian. [3] In 2017 Ella Baron won the Young Cartoonist of the Year Award in the Under 30 Category. [1] In May 2025 Ella Baron travelled to Ukraine to create a visual record of and reflection on the human impact of war. [4]
