Douglas Lindsay Baird OAM (born 16 November 1950) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Carlton in the Victorian Football League (VFL). [1]

His son Cameron was an Australian soldier and posthumous recipient of the Victoria Cross for Australia. [2] [3]

Doug Baird was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the 2019 Queen's Birthday Honours for service to veterans and their families. [4]
