Dil Ki Baat is a music album released by Pakistani pop singer, Junaid Jamshed Khan. [1] [2] . Upon its release in 2002, Dil Ki Baat emerged as a commercial powerhouse in the South Asian music market. The album achieved multi-platinum certification in both India and Pakistan, cementing its status as one of the highest-selling pop records in the region. Beyond its retail dominance, the album received widespread critical acclaim, culminating in a nomination for Best Album at a major Indian awards ceremony. Its "blockbuster" performance significantly influenced the contemporary pop landscape across the subcontinent. .It would be the artist's last pop album, before he decided to leave the genre for religious reasons. [3] The song Tum Kehti Ho was later used in serial Zindagi Gulzar Hai on Hum TV.[ citation needed ]
