Ctenostoma vairai, or Vaira's comb-mouthed beetle, [2] is a species of tiger beetle. [3] This species is found in Ecuador, [2] [3] where it inhabits lower montane rainforests. [4]
Adult females have a length of about 10.5 mm (0.41 in) and are black to pitchy-black. [1]
The species is named in honour of Riccardo Vaira who collected the holotype. [1]
