Trance is a genre of electronic music that emerged from the British new-age music scene and the early 1990s German techno and hardcore scenes.
Infected Mushroom is an Israeli musical duo formed in Haifa in 1996 by producers Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani. They produce and perform psytrance, electronica, dream trance and psychedelic music. They are one of the best-selling groups in Israeli music history in terms of both domestic and international sales.
Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Leiden, South Holland. Since 2001, he has hosted A State of Trance (ASOT), a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. According to DJs and Festivals, "the radio show propelled him to stardom and helped cultivate an interest in trance music around the world."
Lagoona was a dance and techno band, consisting of the two music producers Andreas Viklund and Björn Karlsson. The band was based in a small town called Porjus in northern Sweden. Lagoona was one of the first groups to call themselves "online artists" and they released their first free MP3 single on the Internet in October 1997, long before the format became widely popular.

"Stayin' Alive" is a song written and performed by the Bee Gees from the Saturday Night Fever motion picture soundtrack. The song was released on 13 December 1977 as the second single from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The band co-produced the song with Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson. It is one of the Bee Gees' signature songs. In 2004, "Stayin' Alive" was placed at number 189 on the list of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. In 2004, it ranked No. 9 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema. In a UK television poll on ITV in December 2011 it was voted fifth in "The Nation's Favourite Bee Gees Song".
N-Trance are a British electronic music group who were formed by Kevin O'Toole and Dale Longworth in 1991. The group has sold over 5 million records worldwide and some of their hit singles include "Set You Free", "Forever", as well as covers of the popular 1970s disco songs "Stayin' Alive", "D.I.S.C.O.", "Shake Ya Body, and "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?".
T.O.Y. is a German futurepop/synthpop band. The project was formerly known as Evils Toy, which was closer to electro-industrial in sound.

Black Hole Recordings is a Dutch record label founded by Tijs Verwest (Tiësto) and Arny Bink in 1997. The label is currently distributed by Entertainment One Distribution, formerly known as E1 Entertainment Distribution. In August 2009, Tiësto decided to part ways with Black Hole Recordings, setting up the label Musical Freedom in association with PIAS Entertainment Group.
Ultra Music is a worldwide music entity, comprising Ultra Records, Ultra Music Publishing, and Empire Artist Management. Andy Moor is an English DJ, trance Producer and remixer. He used multiple aliases in the past and was part of many other acts such as Tilt, Whiteroom, Leama & Moor, and Zoo DJs. He also remixed tracks for major artists, including Paul Oakenfold, Brian Eno, Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Britney Spears and Arthur Baker.
Darren James Mew, better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & The Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as "Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and "Paradise & Dreams".
Anita Kelsey is an English singer and songwriter whose vocals and top lines are featured on many hit dance records and feature films. Her voice has appeared as backup vocals for artists such as Kings of Leon, The Good, the Bad & the Queen, Razorlight, Boy George and the Spice Girls, as the featured vocalist on big screen productions such as Dark City, and more recently as the singer and songwriter for a series of successful dance projects. Since 2009 she has worked as a cat behaviour consultant.
Roger Shah, also known as DJ Shah and Sunlounger is a German electronic music composer and producer.
Sharon Knight is a San Francisco-based neopagan composer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist known for writing, recording, and performing Celtic fusion music she calls Neofolk Romantique. She also records and performs harder edged music with Middle Eastern themes as the frontperson of the pagan rock/folk metal group Pandemonaeon. Knight is the co-owner of Trance Jam Records.
MFS is an independent electronic dance music label from Berlin, Germany. Founded by Mark Reeder in 1990, it initially ran until 2008, when Reeder put the label on ice to concentrate on his own music production and remixer career. Reeder reactivated the label in 2018, specifically to release the album Fragment by Chinese band STOLEN.
Abraham Orellana, better known as his stage name AraabMuzik, is an American record producer and DJ. Araabmuzik made a name for himself by performing beats and instrumentals live and in real time on a Music Production Center (MPC) drum machine. He uses MPC to produce rapid, rhythmic drum patterns and creates melodies with samples and other sounds.
Ofer Dikovsky better known by his stage name Oforia is an electronic music artist and music producer from Israel and one of Israel's longest standing electronic music artists. He has been active internationally creating the first form of the dominant Israeli electronic sound. Because of his work, he is considered one of the inventors of the genre in Israel. Besides solo career, he was involved in musical projects Oforia, Indoor, Tandu, Pigs in Space, Phreaky, OB1 and Ofer Di.
Egyptrixx is a Canadian electronic musician from Toronto. Psutka also releases music under the names "ACT!" and " Ceramic TL", is a member of experimental folk project Anamai, and works as a studio producer and composer
Pain Emission were an American electro-industrial group based in San Diego, California, United States. The original incarnation consisted of vocalist Shonn Bratlien and keyboardist Thomas Smith, who were assisted by lyricist Johan Sherriffs and live percussionist Barry Dost in the studio. They released two albums on COP International, Fidget in 1993 and The War Within the following year. The band ceased activities shortly after they released the EP Nudge in 1994.

The War Within is the second studio album by Pain Emission, released on January 4, 1994 by COP International. The title track was provided to the various artists compilation Chillum Dreams Vol. 2 by TranceForce and Nova Media Distribution.
