Tremaine Aldon Neverson, known professionally as Trey Songz, is an American R&B singer, songwriter and actor. He was discovered by record producer Troy Taylor in 2003, and signed with his label, Songbook Entertainment, in a joint venture with Atlantic Records that same year. His debut studio album, I Gotta Make It (2005), entered the Billboard 200 at number 20, while his second album, Trey Day (2007), peaked at number 11. The latter was supported by the single "Can't Help but Wait", which peaked at number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. His third album, Ready (2009), peaked at number three on the Billboard 200, spawned the Billboard Hot 100-top ten single "Say Aah", and was nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

"U.N.I.T.Y." is a song by American hip-hop artist Queen Latifah from her third studio album, Black Reign (1993). The single was released on November 9, 1993, in the United States, and on January 6, 1994, in the United Kingdom. "U.N.I.T.Y." focused on confronting disrespect of women in society, addressing issues of street harassment, domestic violence, and slurs against women in hip-hop culture. The chorus of the song interpolates "Unity" by Desmond Dekker.

"Touch It" is a song by American rapper Busta Rhymes. Released on December 13, 2005, it was the first single from Rhymes' Aftermath/Interscope debut, The Big Bang. The song reached number one in New Zealand, and number six in the United Kingdom. The song features a minimalistic beat provided by Swizz Beatz, and a sample from the song "Technologic" by electronic duo Daft Punk. "Touch It" in turn was incorporated into Daft Punk's live album, Alive 2007.

"I Love My Bitch" known as "I Love My Chick" in its edited version is a song by Busta Rhymes featuring will.i.am and Kelis, released as the second single from Busta Rhymes' seventh studio album, The Big Bang (2006).

"I Changed My Mind" is a song by American R&B recording artist Keyshia Cole, recorded for her debut album, The Way It Is (2005). It was written by the singer along with John Legend and Kanye West, while production on the track was helmed by the latter. Released on November 9, 2004 as the lead single from the album, it was mildly successful commercially, peaking at number 71 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 23 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

"Stuntin' Like My Daddy" is the first single from Birdman and Lil Wayne's album, Like Father, Like Son. It peaked at number twenty-one on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, won the 2007 BET Viewer's Choice Award, and was named the 94th best song of 2006 by Rolling Stone magazine.

"Big Shit Poppin' (Do It)" (edited for radio as "Big Things Poppin' (Do It)") is a song by American hip hop recording artist T.I., released on May 29, 2007, as the lead single from his fifth album T.I. vs. T.I.P. (2007). The song was produced by Mannie Fresh. The song was listed as No. 66 on Rolling Stone's "The 100 Best Songs of 2007" list.

"Tambourine" is a hip hop song by American rapper Eve, released as a single in 2007 and becoming Eve's first charting single as a lead performer in over four years. Written by herself, Sean Garrett, and Swizz Beatz, and produced by the latter, the song samples the 1974 song, "Blow Your Whistle" by The Soul Searchers. In the week of April 19, 2007, the song debuted at number 73 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, where it continued to gain momentum.

"Turn My Swag On" is a song written and recorded by American rapper Soulja Boy Tellem. It was released in October 2008 as the third single from his 2008 album iSouljaBoyTellem. It was performed at the 2009 BET Awards. The song topped the US Rap Charts and peaked at number 19 on the Hot 100. It has so far sold over 1,000,000 digital downloads in the US. It became Soulja Boy's third song to sell more than 1 million downloads, after "Kiss Me thru the Phone" and "Crank Dat ".

"Nothin'" is the lead single from American rapper N.O.R.E.'s third studio album, God's Favorite (2002). The song was produced by the Neptunes and features Neptunes member Pharrell Williams performing the song's hook. "Nothin'" reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing his 1998 hit "Superthug" as his biggest solo hit. At the end of 2002, "Nothin'" was ranked No. 37 on the Billboard Year-End Hot 100 singles of 2002.

"Always Strapped" is the first single from rapper Birdman's fourth studio album, Priceless. It was released officially on iTunes on March 17, 2009. The song features Lil Wayne and Mack Maine, and was produced by Mr. Beatz. The song peaked at number 54 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.

"Number One" is the first single featuring Keri Hilson from American R&B singer R. Kelly's 2009 album, Untitled. The song was released digitally on July 28, 2009.

"Regret" is a song recorded by American singer LeToya Luckett, released as the third single taken from her second studio album Lady Love (2009) featuring American rapper Ludacris. It was written by Luckett, Ludacris, Tank, Jerry "Texx" Franklin, Kristina Stephens, and J. Valentine and produced by Tank and Franklin. The song was released on November 11, 2009, through Capitol Records. The Sky High Remix of "Regret" was released digitally on December 18, 2009. It contains a nearly identical instrumental to that of a previous Tank production, "Ghetto" (2007) by Kelly Rowland.

"All I Do Is Win" is a song by American DJ and record producer DJ Khaled featuring American rappers T-Pain, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, and Rick Ross. It was released on February 8, 2010 as the third single from the former's fourth studio album Victory, along with "Put Your Hands Up". The song peaked at number 24 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

"Bounce It" is a song by American rapper Juicy J featuring fellow rapper Wale and singer Trey Songz, released on June 25, 2013, as the fourth single from the former's third solo studio album Stay Trippy (2013). It was written by its performers along with its producers—Dr. Luke, Cirkut and Baby E—as well as songwriter Jacob Kasher Hindlin. "Bounce It" peaked at number 74 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.

"My Story" is a single by American R&B singer R. Kelly featuring 2 Chainz, written by R. Kelly who co-produced it with Nineteen85 from OVO Sound, for his twelfth solo studio album Black Panties. A snippet of the song was first heard at the BET Awards same year, then another a week after the award ceremony. The song was released on November 3, 2012 via R. Kelly's Vevo, and on iTunes a day later. The second snippet was not in the official song, but later heard on the extended version of the song. The song debuted at #89 on the hot 100 during the week of the album's release after many weeks on the bubbling under chart. No official music video will be released, but a documentary music video has been uploaded on R. Kelly's Vevo channel and a fan video was expected, but was never released.

"We Fly High" is a song by American rapper Jim Jones, released as the lead single from his third studio album, Hustler's P.O.M.E. (2006). The song is Jim Jones' highest-charting single to date, charting at number five on the Billboard Hot 100. It was written by Jones and produced by Zukhan Bey who produced his previous single, "Baby Girl".

"Bodak Yellow" (alternatively titled "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)") is the major-label debut single by American rapper Cardi B. It was written alongside Pardison Fontaine, Klenord Raphael, and producers J. White Did It and Laquan Green, with an additional writing credit going to Kodak Black for the interpolation of his song "No Flockin". It was released on June 16, 2017, by Atlantic Records as the lead single from her debut studio album Invasion of Privacy (2018).

"Big Energy" is a song by American rapper Latto. It was released through Streamcut and RCA Records on September 24, 2021, as the lead single from Latto's second studio album, 777 (2022). It was written by Latto, A1 LaFlare, Jaucquez Lowe, Randall Hammers, Theron Thomas, Dr. Luke, and Vaughn Oliver, with the latter two handling the production. Adrian Belew, Chris Frantz, Steven Stanley, and Tina Weymouth received songwriting credits since the song samples Tom Tom Club's 1981 song "Genius of Love". "Big Energy" has been described as pop and funk-rap.
