The series is written by David Eldridge and produced by Mammoth Screen, and was announced by ITVX in September 2024. [2] The four-part series is directed by Julian Jarrold with Irma Inniss as producer. Executive producers include Damien Timmer alongside Eldridge, Jarrold, Tom Leggett, and Shaun Evans, who also leads the cast. [3]

The cast includes Evans, Romola Garai, Gamba Cole, Zahra Ahmadi, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Omid Djalili. [4]

Filming took place in 2025, with filming locations including Liverpool, Manchester and Stockport. [5]

Broadcast

The series aired on ITV1 and ITVX on 8 February 2026. [6]
