All the Way Home is a 1963 drama film directed by Alex Segal and starring Jean Simmons, Robert Preston, Pat Hingle and Michael Kearney. The plot concerns a young boy and his mother who must deal with the sudden death of the family patriarch. It is based on the 1957 James Agee novel A Death in the Family ^[3] and the 1960 Tad Mosel play All the Way Home . ^[4]
