Monday, March 4 

Movie Monday: Barbie

Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.

Tuesday, March 5

Trivia Tuesday: Women's History Month
11:30 a.m. | Campus Center Cafeteria

Explore the stories and accomplishments of women across history in a fun and interactive trivia game. There will be prizes for winners and a small giveaway for all participants.

International Women's Day Table

Stop by to write a thank-you to a woman in your life, get a sticker or pin, and celebrate International Women's Day.

Dress up as your favorite woman superhero, wear a shirt of a woman who inspires you, or wear purple!

Movie Monday: Hidden Figures

Hidden Figures is the story of a team of women African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program.

Wednesday, March 20

Women's History Month Panel on "Finding the Words"
11 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. | Campus Center Cafeteria Stage

Come hear from HCC faculty & alumni who were involved in the film: Finding the Words: The Story of Voices from Inside. The panel will discuss what Voices From Inside (VFI) is and the creation of the film. Also, mark your calendar for April 25, 12:30-1:30 p.m., when VFI will perform their poetry at HCC!

Finding the Words: The Story of Voices from Inside helps audiences understand the circumstances that can lead to incarceration and addiction, as well as how writing can be a tool for hope and healing.
