Anthony de Vit was an English DJ and music producer. He is considered one of the most influential of his generation. He was credited with helping to take the "hard house" and fast "hard NRG" sounds out of the London gay scene and into mainstream clubs. His single "Burning Up" reached number 25 in the UK Singles Chart in March 1995, with "To The Limit" making number 44 in September 1995. During that year he won BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of the Year Award, as voted by listeners of the show, and Music Week's re-mix of Year Award for Louise's (Naked). He remixed many UK Top 40 hits during his career with artists like Taylor Dayne and East 17. Between 1994 and 1998 his popularity with the clubbing public was rivaled by only Paul Oakenfold and Carl Cox. In September 2010, Mixmag UK announced the nominations of 35 DJs chosen by other big names in the world of dance music as those they considered the best DJs ever. A subsequent 15-month survey, which polled hundreds of thousands of global votes, asked who was the Greatest DJ of All Time and when the result was announced in January 2011, Tony De-Vit was ranked No 9 and one of four British DJs who made the Top 10.

DJ-Kicks: The Exclusives is a compilation album released on the Studio !K7 independent record label. Although it commemorates 25 DJ mix album in the popular DJ-Kicks series, this album is unmixed. Instead, it is a "best of" selection of tracks that were produced and performed by the DJs who mixed some of the earlier DJ-Kicks albums. Each of the tracks were exclusive to the DJ Kicks series and are available on those previous mix albums.

It was released on 14 October 1994 and was the first in a series of mix albums released under the brand of the Renaissance nightclub. Containing music from the house, progressive house and trance genres, it was intended as a sampler of the kind of music played by the club.
"Basscadet" is a track released by British electronic music duo Autechre, featured on their second EP, titled Basscad,EP, released by Warp Records on 25 April 1994. The EP consists entirely of remixes of the namesake track, which originally appeared on Incunabula, Autechre's 1993 debut album with Warp Records. It is the only Autechre single to be taken from an album.

It collects all the singles from 1998–2002 including the hit single "The Logical Song" plus three new tracks "Habanera", "No Pain, No Gain", "Loud And Clear", some live tracks, B-sides and remixes. The title is a lyric from the single "Call Me Mañana". The song Habanera was also scheduled to be released as a single but there is only a promo release as it was dropped in favour of a new song "Nessaja".

It is a CD-only compilation of tracks that were previously available on a 1991 cassette release, also called Halloween, that was limited to 1000 copies. All the tracks have been culled from G.G.F.H.'s first six demo cassettes that were recorded between 1986 and 1989. It was released after fans that had missed the original cassette version demanded to hear it. "Night Prowler" is an industrialized remix of a song by AC/DC.
A mixtape is a compilation of music, typically from multiple sources, recorded onto a medium. With origins in the 1980s, the term normally describes a homemade compilation of music onto a cassette tape, CD, or digital playlist. The songs are either ordered sequentially or made into a continuous program by beatmatching the songs and creating seamless transitions at their beginnings and endings with fades or abrupt edits. Essayist Geoffrey O'Brien described this definition of the mixtape as "perhaps the most widely practiced American art form".
