The 2026 Asian Women's Volleyball Continental Championships will be the 23rd staging of the Asian Women's Volleyball Continental Championships, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Volleyball Association (CVA). The tournament is scheduled to be held in Tianjin, China from 21 to 30 August 2026. [1]

Contents

The winner qualifies for the Volleyball tournament at the 2028 Olympic Games [2] in Los Angeles. The top three finishers will also qualify for the 2027 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship in Canada and United States.

Qualification

Following the new AVC regulations [3] , starting in 2026, a maximum of 12 teams in the AVC Continental Championships will be selected as follows:

  1. As China, Chinese Taipei, and South Korea had already qualified, the EAVA quota was allocated to Hong Kong, which finished fourth.
  2. As Thailand and Vietnam had already qualified, the SAVA quota was allocated to Indonesia, which finished third.
