- 2021–22 NBA season, featuring the Golden State Warriors defeating the Boston Celtics in the 2022 NBA Finals, 4–2, with Stephen Curry winning NBA Finals MVP for the first and only time in his career. Nikola Jokić won the second of his consecutive, and three overall, regular season MVP awards. This season also saw Curry become the NBA's all-time leader in made three-point field goals, surpassing Ray Allen, who held the record for a decade, on December 14, 2021.
- 2022–23 NBA season, featuring the Denver Nuggets defeating the Miami Heat in the 2023 NBA Finals, 4–1. Joel Embiid won his lone regular season MVP award. This season also saw LeBron James' become the NBA's all-time leading scorer, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who held the record for 39 years, on February 7, 2023.
